If you are a
banking professional, there are
many opportunities in the
business sector. The nice thing for you is that no matter what position
you are applying for, the banking resume format is the same.
You could look at free resumes all over the
place, and they show you the same thing. It sounds kind of outrageous
that a resume for a CFO or Financial Controller will have the same
resume format as a Portfolio Manager or Investment Consultant.
Free resumes will show you that it is
necessary to divide your banking resume into distinct sections or
categories and subsections. You can do this by using short paragraphs
and bullet points so that your potential employer will be able to
easily scan your resume.
Your professional experience is the most
important section and should go near the beginning of your resume.
Education is usually the next category, followed by other information
like language or other skills.
The example shown below is to help you
understand why samples of free
resumes can do to help you. Remember that a resume should be limited to
only one page, even though this example is not formatted as such.
